Martin Luther King is rightly remembered for his legacy of racial reconciliation. We often have forgotten that for him 'reconciliation,' meant tough moral commitments and radical social change. So, the Letter from a Birmingham Jail and two speeches which remind us that he was broadening the struggle to force Americans confront the problem of economic inequality when he was cut down:
